New District Website Coming Soon!
The District website host will be switching from Final Site to School Messenger on June 30, 2017. This move will provide a fresh look, streamline navigation, and update content. To access additional resources, faculty and staff can log in with district credentials.
Tech Tools of the Month
This month we are highlighting features of Google Slides. These include the following:
- Insert Video from Google Drive
- Autoplay Video and select start and end times
- Q&A Feature - Connect with your students

Insert Video from Google Drive
When inserting video into a slideshow, you are no longer restricted to YouTube videos! You can now upload any video stored on Google Drive.
- Upload the video to Google Drive
- Navigate to the slide you want to insert the video
- Select Insert > Video > Google Drive
Autoplay Video
You can now set a video to autoplay. Previously, you had to click on the play button for it to begin. You can also choose a start and end time for the video if necessary.
- Click on the video
- Select Video options
- Check the box for Autoplay when presenting. Choose a start and end time if desired. Select this option if you only want a portion of the video to play.
Q&A - Connect with Your Students
With Slides Q&A, teachers can get questions and general feedback from their students, specifically those that prefer not to ask questions in a large group setting. This provides students with a voice. It also provides teachers with more feedback from students.
