Hello Amazing MREC Families!

Can you believe we're already beginning our 6th week of school? Time is flying by, and we are so proud of the growth we've seen in each of our students. We are continuing to foster independence in the classroom. Whether it’s learning to zip their own jackets, clean up after themselves, or confidently try new activities, your children are making tremendous strides in becoming self-sufficient little learners. We encourage you to continue supporting these efforts at home by allowing your child to practice these skills in their daily routines.

I am thrilled to announce that our first field trips of the year are just around the corner! More details, including dates and permission slips, will come home soon. These trips will be a fantastic opportunity for your child to explore and learn outside of the classroom environment.

Our Parent-Teacher Conferences will be happening soon, providing a valuable opportunity for us to discuss your child’s progress, strengths, and areas where we can work together to support their growth. Look for sign-up information to schedule your conference time.

If your child missed Picture Day, don’t worry! We will have a Retakes and Make-Up Picture Day scheduled for October 2nd. More details will follow, so you can make sure your little one is picture-perfect for their school portrait!

We’re grateful for your continued support as we help your child learn and grow each day. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Wishing you a wonderful week!

Kimberly Cole

Principal

Parents, if you join us for class parties, field trips, or lunchtime visits, please refrain from posting photos of any students other than your own on personal social media accounts unless you have permission from their families.
