Continuing to Strengthen our School/Family Relationship
Parents can support their school by participating in school events, volunteering time in classrooms or for activities, and joining parent-teacher organizations like the PTT. They can also support their child's education at home by communicating with teachers, helping with homework, and creating a positive learning environment. Beyond direct involvement, parents can support broader school-level initiatives like funding measures and advocating for educational resources.
Direct involvement and volunteering
- Attend events: Go to school games, concerts, plays, and award ceremonies to show support.
- Volunteer time: Help in the classroom, chaperone field trips, or volunteer for school events and activities like fundraisers, bake sales, or book fairs.
- Join parent organizations: Become an active member of the PTT to stay informed and contribute to school decisions.
Supporting learning at home
- Communicate with teachers: Maintain an open line of communication by talking with your child's teachers regularly.
- Help with homework: Ensure homework is completed, provide a quiet study space, and teach organizational skills.
- Promote learning: Read together, make math part of daily life, and encourage your child to explain their thinking.
- Encourage involvement: Support your child's participation in school clubs, sports, and after-school programs.

Parent/Guardian Perception Survey
PLEASE take the few minutes to complete this survey. We cannot "fix" what our community wants fixed if we don't get your input.
To better address the needs of our parents/guardians, I need to gather some input from all of you. Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey for me. The input that you provide will be what I use to start addressing our school needs I truly appreciate your input and time. I will be closing this survey down on November 7th.
When visiting the School...
We are so glad to have you visit and hope you feel welcomed in our building! To best ensure the safety of our students and staff and maintain the daily flow, we have a couple of important requests for visitors:
When you arrive, please use the front doors to check in and sign out at the main office.
Please do not leave your vehicle unattended in the front bus loop during the busy morning drop-off or afternoon dismissal times. We need to keep this lane clear for our buses to maneuver safely and efficiently.
Your cooperation with these small matters is greatly appreciated!

Staff Member Highlight
For this week's staff member highlight, we'd like you to meet one of our dedicated staff members, we'd like you to meet Olivia Anderson. Olivia is a dedicated member of the Waldron team, serving as an Instructional Assistant in the elementary for the past 14 years. She and her amazing husband, Shelby, have been married for 20 years, and they are blessed with three incredible children: Derek (31), Christian (19), and Ryan (17). When she's not working hard to support our students, Olivia loves camping and attending hockey games with family and friends. She's also a big football fan, cheering on her favorite teams, the Wolverines and the Lions!
