Principal's Message
Parent Conferences and Coffee with the Principal
Dear NOW Families,
We have an exciting week ahead at NOW Academy! Our students will enjoy a variety of activities, including Middle School Spirit Week, a school-wide door decorating contest, an Elementary School Fall Parade, and lunchtime fun for our Middle School students. These activities are wonderful opportunities to build school spirit, celebrate creativity, and strengthen our school community.
Thank you to all the families who joined us for Secondary Parent Conferences last week and stopped by for Coffee with the Principal. We appreciate your partnership and commitment to your students’ success!
As we approach the end of the semester, now is the time for students to RISE to their PRIME! We encourage all students to take ownership of their learning by submitting any missing assignments, reviewing their grades, strengthening their study habits, and reaching out to teachers for support when needed. Every assignment, every lesson, and every day counts!
In early November, we look forward to welcoming our Elementary School families for academic conversations with students and teachers. Together, we will celebrate progress, identify areas for growth, and develop strategies to help every student succeed.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Let’s make it a fantastic week filled with learning, school spirit, and Bobcat pride!
Together, we RISE to our PRIME!
C. Vela, Principal
We are RFK NOW Academy! Bobcat Pride!
Attendance Matters!
- Congratulations our attendance is looking better!
- TK, Kinder, and 2nd grade students must do a better of job of being at school each and every day your child is healthy. Please remember that your child will experience school as difficult after returning from an absence because they are now behind their peers. Every moment spent learning matters to your child's future!
Let's keep the green attendance bars high and let's stay excited!
Let's meet the goal!

This year, I ask that we lean into hope.
Hope for our students.
Hope for one another.
Hope for our school.
Hope for the collective future we are building together.
Let us begin and end this year believing that what we do together can make a difference—and that the best is still ahead. Let these snapshots be proof of the strength of our community.
