Hello Marcellus Families,

I would like to personally thank each family and business who supported our annual fundraiser. You have once again shattered our expectations and each of our students will be participating in making Mr. Essex, our future Elementary Principal, and myself into a chicken. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for photo evidence.

I would also like to highlight and thank the following staff members who have decided to retire this year for their dedication to our students and community: Mrs. Heather Mihills (32 years of service), Mrs. Sheri James (3 years of service), Mrs. Sondra Houtkooper (3 years of service) and Mrs. Melinda Bohan (36 years of service).

I can't thank our elementary staff, students and families enough for another GREAT year! This is bittersweet as I write my last newsletter as the elementary principal and look forward to working with the district staff and our superintendent in a new position for our district next year.

June 5th: 5th graders walk-out around 10:40 am. PLEASE line the front sidewalk around 10:30 as we will begin the walk out as close to 10:40 as possible.

June 5th: Last Day of School and Early Release at 11:07 am

Breakfast:

Breakfast provides energy that is necessary to focus and be productive at school as well as contributes to academic achievement.
