Dear Wildcat Community,

Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful and refreshing break filled with time spent with family and friends. We’re thrilled to welcome you back tomorrow! Please take a few moments to read through this newsletter for important updates and upcoming events.

I’m delighted to share some exciting news—our school is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year! We’ll be marking this milestone with celebrations throughout the year, starting with a brand-new logo and ACE. Check out the updated logo below! Stay tuned for the launch of new spirit wear—details and links will be shared soon.

I also invite you to join us for the next PTA General Session meeting this Thursday, January 9th, at 7PM in the school library. We look forward to seeing you there!

Altamont Creek Elementary is looking for several adult volunteers to become part of our Lunch Bunch. These volunteers will help assist and supervise students during their lunch break. Please sign up for as few or as many time slots as you are able. We appreciate all the help!

1. There is only ONE lane to drop students off in the valet line. The big, outside lane is the ONLY lane to safely drop students off. I've noticed some families dropping off in the parking lot lane, but that is not safe for students and we need to open for through traffic to park.

2. Please pull ALL the way forward to maximize the number of cars in the drop off lane.

3. If you park, please go to the cross walk to safely cross onto campus.

Together we can make drop off smooth and safe for all students!

With rainy weather upon us, we are starting to see WET library books returned to the library every day! Please provide your Wildcat with a large plastic bag to protect their library books from the elements (and yourself from pesky library fines). 2.5 gallon zip-top bags work beautifully for this purpose. If you prefer, bags can be purchased in the library for $1 each. Thank you!

Calling all Parent Volunteers!

We are looking for parents to help with our Wildcat Buck Redemptions on Fridays. They are from 9:15 to 10:20 a.m. in the office. Students redeem the bucks they earn for pencils, stickers, and other prizes. The students look forward to this each week, and we need parents to help out.
