Thank you to the Rotary Club of Sumner and the Bonney Lake-Tehaleh Rotary Club for donating a combined 740 dictionaries to students during recent presentations at each of our elementary schools.

Even while so many educational resources are now accessed online, students continue to find excitement in this paper format.

Thank you, Sumner Rotary and Bonney Lake Tehaleh Rotary, for keeping this longstanding tradition going and supporting student learning!

State of the District highlights student success, community impact State of the District highlights student success, community impact

We welcomed more than 100 community leaders to the fourth annual State of the District this morning at Sumner High School. They enjoyed breakfast catered by our talented Sumner and Bonney Lake high school culinary students, performances by the SHS band and BLHS students Izumi J. and Lenora P., culminating in an informative presentation about our district’s academic achievement, workforce-ready programs, and how our students are actively engaged in making our community a better place. We thank our community leaders for attending!
