Message from Mr. Imbusch

Dear students and parents/guardians:

I hope everyone enjoyed their first two days of school! This past Monday, we welcomed 230 new members of the Class of 2028 during Freshmen Orientation. It was a pleasure meeting all of you, and we’re thrilled to have such an enthusiastic and hardworking class joining us at Walpole High.

Next week, we’ll start our first ‘Wednesday schedule.’ For parents and guardians new to the high school, this means that on Wednesdays, each class is slightly shorter, with formal classes ending at 1:39 p.m. Buses will still pick up students at the usual time of 2:05 p.m. Students can use this time in several ways, such as:

  • Seeking extra help from teachers to better understand challenging concepts.
  • Making up missed assignments, tests, or quizzes from previous absences.
  • Collaborating with peers for academic support or group projects.
  • Getting a head start on homework before participating in games, practices, clubs, or jobs.
  • Meeting with college representatives who visit the high school throughout the fall.

Just a reminder, there will be no school tomorrow (Friday) and no school on Monday for Labor Day.

Enjoy the extended weekend!

Sincerely,

Stephen Imbusch

Principal
