Dear families,

Can you believe it's October?! 👻 We can't wait to see everyone at our annual, well-loved Pumpkin Pizzazz on October 23rd. We invite children and families to come dressed up and have fun competing in our costume contest. On Friday, October 30th, students are able to wear a Halloween shirt with uniform pants to school. Please no costumes in school.

Thank you to Ms. Fitzgerald (Saylor) for organizing our Dine Out to Donate at LaBamba! It was an AMAZING turn out with yummy food! 🌮🌮🌮

Sign up to volunteer at Pumpkin Pizzaz here: https://www.harbordalehsa.com/sign-ups/?sheet_id=297 - we love high school volunteers!

This Friday, October 9th is a half day of school. School will release at 12:00 PM! Students who attend Sunshine Aftercare on site will attend that day at 12:00 PM.

If you have stopped by on campus recently, you will notice we are requiring every person to show their ID or Passport in the camera at the front doors. I know our office staff knows so many faces, but this is part of District policy for security. Please don't forget your ID when coming to the school. 🪪

🍕🍗🍇We have a number of families who have not loaded lunch money on to their child's account. Please go to www.myschoolbucks.com to add money. You can set it to replenish when it is getting low so you can set and forget about it! You can also load money specifically for ice cream day ($1 every Wednesday). If you need free/reduced lunch, please see the section below to apply.🍉🍐🍌

💻A quick reminder, please ensure that you have signed up to be a volunteer with the School Board (www.browardschools.com/volunteer) prior to signing up with HSA. It takes about 5 minutes to complete the application! We want all our amazing volunteers to be allowed on campus.💻

🚫📱Florida Law does not allow the use of cellphones and/or smart devices to be used in school. This includes Smart Watches. If students must bring technology to school, it should be powered off and in their backpack.📵

Have a great week!

Mrs. Kasdhin & Ms. Gordon
