Smiles Across Montana - Dental Clinic Opportunity

Smiles Across Montana is a non-profit mobile dental clinic that will be coming to GHS to provide dental care to interested students on May 5th-8th, 2025. They provide dental care for any students who are not receiving regular dental care for any reason. Registered dental hygienists who are under direct general supervision of a dentist, will come to our school with all of the equipment they need to provide preventive cleanings, fluoride varnish treatments, digital x-rays if needed, preventative cavity treatment, and preventive dental sealants. They also have an extensive referral system to help students' families find a dentist in the community, if needed. They take dental insurance, and have a scholarship fund to help pay for services when families can’t.

The consent form is linked here, and paper copies can be found at the Attendance office, Main offices and the Nurse Office. Completed consent forms should be turned into the Main Office or to the School Nurse as soon as possible. Please click here to view the Smiles Across Montana website to learn more about this great organization. We hope to see you there!

    Advanced Culinary Makes Mocktails

Did you know that mocktail menus are one of the largest up and coming trends in the restaurant industry? On average, restaurants with a mocktail menu bring in $90,000 more annually than restaurants with regular nonalcoholic beverages. This is partially in response to growing trends that consumers prefer more health conscious drink alternatives. Additionally, Generation Z consumes 20% less alcohol than Millennials, who already consume less alcohol than Generation X and Baby Boomers.

As a result of these trends, Advanced Culinary learned about these changing trends in consumer preferences and then created mocktails of their own.
