💡HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE GLEN
Spring Orchestra Concert
Our Maple Glen Spring Orchestra Concert last evening was a wonderful celebration of our students’ hard work and musical growth. Our advanced orchestra truly shined, performing intricate selections that highlighted their impressive technique, complexity, and musicality. It was equally exciting to watch our beginner orchestra students perform with confidence, demonstrating just how much they have grown and developed throughout the year.
Under the direction of Ms. Noonon, all of our students performed at an exceptionally high level, making the evening a proud moment for our entire school community. These talented musicians even managed to make Mr. Perez look good during his mini-solo performance! Finally, we extend our sincere thanks to our families for their continued support, especially for ensuring students arrive for early morning lessons. Your partnership plays a vital role in our students’ success.
Special Olympics
This week, Maple Glen Elementary proudly celebrated our incredible Special Olympics Team! Our student-athletes, alongside their supportive 4th grade buddies, represented our school with enthusiasm, teamwork, and chipmunk pride. Upon their return, they were welcomed back with a spirited hallway parade, where cheers and smiles filled the building in honor of their accomplishments. We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Gerhart for her thoughtful planning and tireless behind-the-scenes work to make this experience so meaningful for our students. We also want to give a big shoutout to our MGIU–Maple Glen Intermediate Unit staff for their continued support. It was a day filled with pride, unity, and joy. This was a true reflection of the Maple Glen spirit!
