Knight-Line News
June 8, 2026

Dear Families,
Welcome to the final edition of the Knight-Line News for the 2025-2026 school year! As we wrap up another wonderful year, I want to thank our students, families, staff, PTO, and volunteers for helping make Monfort such a special place. Together, we have celebrated so much learning, growth, and success.
As a reminder, Tuesday and Wednesday are half days with dismissal at 12:09 p.m. We look forward to enjoying these final days together and celebrating all that our students have accomplished this year. Have a wonderful summer, Knights!
Warmly,
Debbie Nawrocki

FIELD DAY FUN
Our Knights had an amazing time at Field Day! A special thank you to Mrs. Yax for organizing such a fun-filled day and to our incredible PTO and dedicated volunteers for helping make the event such a success. We are so grateful for everyone who gave their time and energy to create a memorable day for our students.
A Day of Disney Magic
Disney Day was a magical adventure in kindergarten! Students took a virtual field trip to Disney World, where they "rode" exciting attractions, enjoyed the Festival of Fantasy Parade, sampled delicious Mickey-themed treats, and ended the day by watching the spectacular Happily Ever After fireworks show. It was a fun-filled day of imagination, excitement, and Disney magic!
CLASSROOM CREATIVITY WINNERS
One student from each class was recognized with the Creativity Award for exemplifying May's character trait of creativity. These students were celebrated with a special board game celebration and a schoolwide clap out in recognition of their outstanding imagination, innovation, and creative thinking.
ST MATH CELEBRATION
Students who completed 100% of their ST Math coursework were rewarded for their hard work and perseverance with an extra recess and a popsicle celebration.
ONCE A KNIGHT, ALWAYS A KNIGHT!
Our former Knights returned to Monfort to celebrate their accomplishments and share this special milestone with our school community. We were honored to welcome them back for a breakfast and assembly as we recognized all they have achieved. Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see where your journey takes you next.
