Principal's Weekly Update

We wish you a peaceful holiday break, happy holidays and happy new year! We look forward to welcoming our Wildcats back on January 6th.

As the winter break approaches, we invite you to take a moment to slow down, recharge, and embrace the peace this season can bring.

The holidays are often filled with joy and connection, but they can also bring challenges—whether it’s missing a loved one, juggling holiday preparations, or managing the pressures of the season. While each of us celebrates in our own way, it’s important to acknowledge all feelings that may arise and remember it’s okay to ask for support when needed.

To help make this season a little brighter, we’ve gathered some resources for you to keep handy. If you or a loved one could benefit from extra support, we encourage you to use them whenever needed.

Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District has partnered with Care Solace to help support the well-being of our community. Whether you or a family member need support with mental health or substance use, Care Solace can connect you to care options that meet your needs—quickly, confidentially, and at no cost to you.

How to Access Support:

• Call: 888-515-0595 (Multilingual support available 24/7/365)
• Visit: www.caresolace.com/fsusdfamilies
• Search for providers independently or click “Book Appointment” to get assistance via video chat, phone, or email.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a peaceful start to the new year. May you return from winter break rested, recharged, and ready for what’s ahead!

Our school has several neighbors, and we are especially thankful for The Village, allowing us to visit their residents and showcase our students' talents! Check out some of the visits from this week:

Students in the National Junior Honor Society volunteer their time on a regular basis: they participate in community service throughout the semester. Most students find their own opportunities, but here are two recent happenings organized by NJHS that help spread the holiday cheer.

Please contact our athletic director Ms. Brucia with any sports questions at tinab@fsusd.org.

Any middle school student attending an FSUSD high school game must be accompanied by an adult.

Students attending home games at BGW must have their school ID and must pay 20 PBIS points to attend. Only students from BGW and from the opposing team will be able to enter games. Space is limited.
