JME Families,

Welcome back to school! The first days back have been wonderful—full of smiles, laughter, and the joy of seeing our classrooms come alive again. Students have been settling in beautifully, reconnecting with friends, and diving into new learning adventures.

We have some reminders and important dates to look out for in this newsletter. Please make sure you mark your calendars! As always you may contact our office with any questions you may have. We will do our best to help you as quickly as possible.

We’re so appreciative of your patience and understanding while we try to get students in their seats. Thank you for your support in making the start of the school year so positive and smooth.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE A NEW ENROLLMENT, THERE IS A CHANCE THAT YOU MAY BE OVERFLOWED TO ANOTHER SCHOOL EVEN AFTER SCHOOL HAS STARTED. WE ARE WORKING HARD TO GET EVERY STUDENT IN A CLASSROOM, BUT WE MAY HAVE CLASSROOMS AT THEIR CAPACITY.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we start our school year.

IF YOU ARE NOT RETURNING TO MUIR, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE SO WE CAN UPDATE OUR CLASSROOM ENROLLMENT NUMBERS.

Please note the times for TK dismissal, they have been adjusted by 5 minutes.

If you have not completed the Data Confirmation in Aeries, please do so. It will be closing soon.

Please make sure you are arriving to school on time and leave plenty of time for parking and walking safely to school. Please utilize the cross walks and drive slowly. We have many students and family arriving to school at the same time and it gets crowded quickly.

Also, please do not park in Staff Parking Lot (Kinder Side) and do not block any parking stalls.

Please remind your students:

There are no toys, play equipment, purses, fanny packs, or small backpacks allowed.

Cellphones must stay on silent in backpacks until they leave campus. They are not allowed to use their phones on campus. You may contact the office if you need to speak with your student.

We also ask that no fast food be brought to school. You are welcome to drop off a home made lunch for your student if needed. All students have access to free breakfast and lunches.

Birthday Celebrations- NO FOOD ITEMS. You may bring goody bags with small school supplies/ toys. They will be handed out at the end of the day to take home.

We will be handing out our registration packets the week of August 11th. The white pages will need to be completed, signed and returned to your teacher. These forms need to be completed every year even if you have completed them online. We appreciate you taking the time to return these to us.
