What a great weekend to be a Lumberjack! On Friday, the Lumberjack football team took on the Mackay Miners. The Lumberjacks took care of business, defeating the Miners 36-14! The Lumberjacks advance to play Coeur du Christ this Saturday at Lake City HS at 1:00 PT! The volleyball team travelled to Thunder Ridge HS to play in the State Tournament over the weekend. The Ladyjacks played hard and came away with the Third Place Trophy! Way to go Lumberjacks! And Greer G. was our lone cross country runner to participate at State. He placed in the upper 1/3 of runners at state capping off his senior year in cross country. Great job Greer! All three of our fall sports teams are making a splash at the state level! It's a great time to be a Lumberjack!

Idaho Youth Well-Being Survey

Unfortunately, we did not receive enough permission forms to be able to offer the Student Wellbeing Survey last week. We need at least 66% students opted-in to be able to give the survey. As of the end of last week, we had a little over 50%. This is unfortunate because this survey provides important data for the school to be able to better serve our students. If you haven't already, please follow this link to opt your student in or out to participate: --> https://boisestate.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2b39NFSuxTTJYy2

What parents should know:

  • Parental permission/consent is required for students to participate. Even with permission, students do not have to take the survey.

  • Responses are 100% anonymous. No one can track individual student answers.

  • Survey results stay with our school and district.

  • The IYWS is run by Communities for Youth in partnership with YAC.

  • The survey questions can be previewed here.

If you would like to learn more about the survey, visit the YAC website. Provide permission for your child here https://boisestate.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2b39NFSuxTTJYy2
