Dear Wilson Families,

This month, I had the privilege of attending conferences and seminars where I was reminded once again that the work happening every day here at Wilson truly sets us apart. The programs we provide, the care we extend to families, and the dedication of our staff position our district as a leader, not just in Arizona, but nationwide.

At the heart of this success is our community. Transparent communication and collaboration between families, staff, and district leadership are what allow us to give our students the very best. As we move into October, I encourage all of us to continue leaning on one another—because together, we create the conditions where every child can thrive.

Looking ahead, please take note of these important dates:

  • Fall Break: October 6–10, 2025

  • World Teachers’ Day: October 5, 2025 – Join us in thanking our incredible teachers for their hard work and dedication.

  • National Principals Month: All of October – A time to recognize the vital role our principal, Mrs. Wojcicki, plays in leading our schools.

  • National School Custodial Workers Recognition Day: October 2, 2025 – Let’s show our appreciation for the team that keeps our schools safe, clean, and welcoming.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. Together, we will keep building a district where students, families, and staff feel supported and proud to be part of The Wilson Way.

With appreciation,
Mr. Rose
Superintendent
Wilson Elementary School District

This month, 16 of our 7th and 8th grade students had the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom during their very first community service trip of the year. After spending several weeks in class exploring what it means to serve others, researching local organizations, and presenting their ideas, the group chose St. Mary’s Food Bank as their first project.

Once there, students rolled up their sleeves and got to work assembling emergency food boxes and large food bags for families in need. Together, they packed over 2,000 boxes, setting a new record for the facility and providing food for 3,624 individuals in our community.

We are so proud of our students for putting their classroom lessons into action and making such a meaningful difference. This experience not only helped families across the Valley but also reminded our Wildcats of the power of teamwork, perseverance, and giving back.

That’s The Wilson Way—building strong students and strong communities.
