CASD ATHLETICS AND ACTIVITIES

The Coatesville Area School District is engaging in a strategic planning process to plan for the future of our athletics and co-curricular activities program. A key part of this process is the collection of feedback from students, parents, staff and community members regarding the current program as well as identifying areas for growth. In order to do this, we will be holding 1 hour focus groups via zoom beginning next week! This is your last chance to register as registration will close at 5pm tomorrow (Friday, October 2). Please use the link below to register for one of the focus groups. Specific stakeholder groups are designated for each session. The complete list of dates and times is below. Surveys to assist the CASD collect feedback will be released during the week of October 5 to assist in the development of our Athletics and Co-Curricular Activities Strategic Plan. This strategic plan will help guide our programs for at least the next five years so please take a few minutes to fill out this brief important survey.

The surveys will cover important topics such as the Red Raider mascot, participation information, connections to school, academics and athletics/activities, facilities, and student experiences.

Everyone in our district and community will have the opportunity to weigh in and once the links to the surveys are released, please feel free to share with any of your family, friends, and alumni of the Coatesville Area School District. The surveys will be broken down into the following:

• ELEMENTARY STUDENTS IN GRADES 3-5
• MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
• PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
• CASD FACULTY AND STAFF
• CASD COMMUNITY MEMBERS (BUSINESSES, ALUMNI, CASD RESIDENTS, ETC.)

Again, your feedback is critical in this process and I ask that you please take the appropriate survey, have your child take the appropriate survey, and share the links with anyone and everyone that you may know that fit into the above categories! We would love to hear from you.

Survey links will be available beginning Monday morning, October 5 and will close at 5pm on Friday, October 9. You can access them at http://www.casdschools.org as well as on the district various social media platforms. I will also send an email with these links on Monday morning.
