Synergy is valuing differences, and then working together to create a better solution than what anyone could do alone.

When we focus on each other's strengths and begin working or playing as a team, we can be unstoppable.

Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much!”.

What can you do to teach your child to Synergize at home?

1. Talk about three things you are really good at. Then, compliment someone else on something they are good at doing.

2. Watch your favorite sports team play a game. Pay extra attention to how all the players work together as a team.

3. Talk about what makes a bad team member and what makes a good team member.

4. Call two friends and play a board game or a basketball game together.

→Send in a photo of your child doing these things at home and we will feature some of them in the next issue of the Crocodilian. Email the photo along with the student’s name, teacher, and grade to Katye Wilkinson at kwilkinson@lexrich5.org by February 9th.

Where: H. E. Corley Gym
Who: All current H. E. Corley Students & a Significant other adult only (must be 18 years old or older). Can include one parent, guardian, aunt, uncle, grandparent, or a special person in the student’s life. One adult per child. Adult must stay with the child at all times.

What: $12 per person (Presale only) No tickets will be sold at the door.

Please fill out and return by Monday, February 10th. Make checks payable to HEC PTO. Tickets will be sent home week of February 17th.
