I Believe in YOU!
ππBoosting self-confidence has been shown to have an extremely positive impact in children. As we spend time testing over the next few weeks during our assigned times at our schools, remember to share a few encouraging words or give some high fives and say "I believe in YOU!"
AI shared some other ways to say it.
- "I trust in your abilities."
- "I believe in your potential."
- "I know you can do it."
- "You've got this."
- "I'm rooting for you."
- "I'm backing you."
- "I'm with you all the way."
- "I have no doubt you'll succeed."
- "I know you'll make it."
- "I'm putting my trust in you."
- "I have unwavering faith in you."
TNPulse Update is LIVE!
MTSS Plans
TNPulse plans can now be updated and I want to say thanks to Jennifer Preston, Tracy Hunter, and Envolyn Rinex for confirming that the update did work. Many of you have plans that need to be updated to match what is noted in the CSRS as students have made progress. Please follow these steps.
Open the student's plan in TNPulse MTSS.
Scroll to bottom and click on finalize plan. (This step triggers the fix.)
Scroll to the bottom and you will see a modify button will appear, but you also have access to the other buttons that weren't visible.
ILP-D Exit Tile
If you recently attempted to exit an ILP-D and encountered a frozen screen or no options, please take a moment to confirm that your name is listed on the second tile as the manager and then go to the exit tile where you should now see options available to note the reason for exiting the ILP-D.
Grade 3 aimswebPlus Spring Benchmark
Due to TCAP testing, please pause any remaining Grade 3 aimswebPlus Spring Benchmark testing as students need a break. Please complete any unfinished subtests with Grade 3 students when we begin our Spring Universal Screener Window April 28-May 16.
April Data Meetings
Please ensure that you are uploading your data meeting notes, agendas, and updating the CSRS. As I have been reviewing folders there are many schools that drop the agenda and have a running record, but there is no evidence of discussion of student progress.
Grades 9-12 should ensure that any newly identified students are listed in meeting notes as needing to be enrolled in the designated intervention course during the 25-26 SY. Please ensure that these students are added to the CSRS and shown in red font to easily distinguish that these names are for the future. You will create a plan for the students in May.
Common Question During TCAP and EOC
Do we progress monitor during TCAP and EOC?
TCAP and EOC do not stop RTI2A though they may occur at an alternate time due to testing schedules created by your school. We progress monitor when instruction and intervention occur. Please check with your school leader as the District provides a window for TCAP and EOC but does not create individual school schedules.
