RBMS: STAAR INFORMATION

STAAR Testing is quickly approaching! More detailed information will be coming out soon. Mark your calendars with the following testing dates:

STAAR Testing Days:

4/23/25 - 8th grade Social Studies

4/24/25 - 8th grade Science

4/29/25 - ALL GRADES (6th-8th grade) Math & Algebra

STAAR Make-up Days:

4/25/25 - 8th Social Studies/Science

4/30/25 - ALL GRADES (6th-8th grade) Math & Algebra

Have your students:

- Charge their LISD laptops tonight

- Get a good nights sleep

- Eat a healthy breakfast (protein is a plus!)

- Bring LISD laptop and charger to school

- Get to school on time

- Granola bar

- Beef stick

- Grapes/blueberries

- Goldfish

Families of 6th-12th Grade students can now secure their students’ district-provided devices. Students who have paid the non-refundable security deposit for the 2025-2026 school year will be able to keep their devices throughout the summer if the deposit is paid now. Incoming 6th Grade students will receive their devices at the beginning of the school year.

Price:

- High School Students: $60 per school year

- Middle School Students: $40 per school year

- Students who qualify for Free and Reduced meals: $0.00

Registration through our online store, currently MySchoolBucks, or submission of a signed acceptance form is required. More information is available on the Sign Up & Pay page on our mLISD website. Debit/credit cards are processed through the mLISD website: you must have a MySchoolBucks account to pay for your student's laptop.
