RHHS Wildcats News You Can Use
#WEARERH 10/3/2025
Happy FriYAY & Happy Homecoming!
What a week it’s been at Richmond Hill! Homecoming has brought so much excitement, spirit, and pride to our school and community. The energy has been contagious, and the memories made this week will last well beyond tonight’s game. A huge thank you to everyone, students, staff, parents, and community members—who helped make this week so special. It truly takes all of us to #BTH, and that teamwork was on full display!
It’s hard to believe we’re already approaching the quarter mark of the school year. With progress reports right around the corner, please continue to check in on your student’s grades and assignments in PowerSchool. If concerns arise, know that our teachers are committed to communicating and partnering with you to make sure every student has a clear plan for success. Our goal is that no student falls behind, and that only happens when we all work together. Thank you for the support you give at home, it makes a big difference for your students and for our school.
As a reminder, October 10–14, is Fall Break—a time for rest, relaxation, refocus, and most importantly, time with family. We hope everyone enjoys the chance to recharge and come back ready to finish the first quarter strong.
When we return on October 15, we will kick off the week with important activities across grade levels. Our 9th graders will participate in the MBF program, 10th graders will be taking the PSAT, 11th graders will complete the ASVAB, and our seniors will have a Digital Learning Day with an online assignment to complete at home.
Thank you, as always, for your support—we couldn’t do this without our Wildcat families!
See ya, Love ya, Bye!

SB351 Lesson Summary
On Thursday, October 2nd, RHHS students participated in their second of five Parent Pro Tech lessons on digital citizenship & online safety. This second lesson titled, “Social Media and My Future”, asked students to reflect on their online presence (or lack thereof) and how it could influence their future opportunities. Students explored the delicate balance between online privacy and cultivating a positive digital footprint that will serve them in their future. Students were taught the benefits of utilizing social media privacy settings, reflected on their personal goals, and empowered to take control of their digital identities to help shape their future success.
To reinforce this lesson with your child at home, the following discussion points can be used:
- What is a digital footprint, and why is it important to manage it?
- How do social media privacy settings impact our online presence and reputation?
- What strategies can we use to balance privacy and positive online engagement?
RHHS is using the state-approved Parent Pro Tech curriculum to satisfy the requirements of Georgia Senate Bill 351 (SB351). Georgia SB351 is designed to enhance student safety and digital awareness through instruction on responsible online behavior, recognizing and avoiding harmful online content, and engaging families in digital safety conversations. The bill mandates that schools provide age-appropriate lessons to students on digital citizenship and online safety and that parents be informed and included throughout the process.
Families are welcomed & encouraged to sign up for a free Parent Pro Tech account to view resources and activities to utilize at home!

Car-rider/parent drop-off information - Click Here
- If you are dropping off a car rider, please stay in the right lane and keep the left lane open when entering the round-a-bout for our student drivers.
- When dropping your child off in the morning and when picking them up in the afternoon, we kindly ask that you pull all the way down to the sidewalk right before the student parking lot B entry and ensure that your child is ready to unload as soon as you stop. This will allow for us to clear Belfast Keller and keep traffic rolling. Is it further than curbside drop-off? Yes. Is it going to allow for more cars to drop off at once? Yes. Is it a safe alternative? Absolutely. We appreciate you working with us so we can clear the car line in a timely fashion.
- If I arrive with my child prior to the 7am opening of school can they disembark from the car? Yes. We would appreciate you going ahead and letting them out. They are welcome to wait outside in the front of the school or step into the air conditioned foyer of the building prior to all-staff arrival.
