PTA Update from the Eagle's Nest
PTA Newsletter: Week of October 13, 2025
A word from the PTA Board
This is the week we look forward to all year - it's time for the Bingham Boo!!! A special thank you to the Bingham Boo Planning Committee and the leadership of Ceanne Wienner and Molly Clautice. This year's event is going to be Spooktacular for all ages. Our family is looking forward to checking out the Witch's Brew Station, Trick or Treat Trail, and Midway (for all the gold coins!). If you haven't purchased your wristbands, please do so ASAP. Prices now are $16/each ($55 Family Max), and door sales are only available until 7 pm, and based upon availability, they will be $25/each (no family max).
- All sales after 1 pm on Wednesday, October 15, will be held for pick-up at will-call during the event.
For those of you who are new, this is a great event for the family to enjoy together. At your leisure, you can participate in activities throughout the school. Students will have the opportunity to earn gold coins at the Carnival. These can be exchanged in the gym for prizes.
- Carnival Games & Prize Area: Gymnasium
- Trick or Treat Trail: Kindergarten Wing
- Witch's Brew Station: Art Room 6:45, 7:45 pm (30min)

Volunteers and Sweet Donations Needed
We are still in need of volunteers to make this event a success. Student and Adult Volunteers are needed to lend a helping hand in several spots. Whether you prefer to set up/tear down, sell 50/50 tickets, lead a game, or something else. We appreciate your time and support of the event.
All donations for the Trick or Treat Trail should be dropped off in the office this week. These can be pre-made or homemade treats of your choosing (cookies, cupcakes, rice krispie treats, cake pops, chocolate covered pretzels, cheese ball jars, etc.).
Thanks everyone for making this year's event a huge success!
See you Friday!

Teacher Gifts
With all the Prime Days and other shopping deals out there, we want to share that Bingham Farms will once again be offering GiftCrowd for teacher and staff gifts. Information will come out in November. This is a way to contribute to a larger group gift card for each staff person and is their preferred gift. Stay tuned for more details.
Volunteer Opportunities: October-December
Each newsletter, we will update volunteer opportunities for ways to get involved in the school and see your kiddos. No experience needed, just warm smiles and a willingness to help out. *Volunteer opportunities for class parties will be sent out by your Grade Connector. In the meantime, will you consider helping us in the Library, Cafeteria, or on the Playground?
Volunteer iChat Form - MUST DO!
We love school volunteers throughout the year. If you plan on helping out at school or visiting a classroom as a guest reader, a new iChat form must be completed annually and will be kept on file for the 2025/2026 school year. Once you complete the form, you can email it to sallen2@birmingham.k12.mi.us or drop it off in the school office.

Conference Meals
Help the PTA provide nourishing meals and refreshment for our amazing teachers and staff. A warm meal, a sweet treat, and a little caffeine go a long way on the really long conference days. Thanks for your support!
PTA Membership Directory
We invite all our families to participate in our Membership Directory. Within the PTA Membership Toolkit there is a school-wide Directory. This is the best spot to look for contact info for meet-ups, party invitations, and the name and number for "Luke's Mom".
Seriously, the other day he came home with, "Mom I need a play date with ___, I have his number written down..." it was five numbers, nothing else. 🤦🏻♀️(Cue Membership Directory)

Shop to Support the PTA
Kroger Community Rewards
Help our school while you shop. Under your Kroger Plus Card Account > Rewards > Community Rewards, you can select an organization that a portion of your sale goes to support! Choose AC809 for Bingham Farms Elementary and our PTA gets a check with no extra steps after you sign-up.
Box Tops for Education
A great way to support the school is through Box Top$ for Education. Long gone are the days of clipping the barcodes of cereal boxes or soup labels. Download the app, select Bingham Farms Elementary, and each time you shop at the grocery scan your receipt. It will auto calculate the donation and send it to our school! It is easy, and you don't need to know which food or supplies qualify for credit - the app checks for you. Now download that app while you wait for the bus, or in the pick-up gathering zone. Thanks for supporting our school, and be sure to share with friends and family too!
