Talent Show Auditions Talent Show Auditions

🌟Who: Any student in 1st-5th grade

🌟What: Sidener’s Got Talent

🌟Audition Dates: April 29 OR April 30, after school 3:45-4:30 PM

  • STUDENTS MUST HAVE A RIDE THAT WILL BE ON TIME.
  • If your student cannot make either audition date, please send an audition video to Miss Schafer (schafers@myips.org). Acts are limited to 2 minutes.
  • Sign-up HERE to audition for Sidener's Got Talent.

🌟Performance Date: Friday, May 16th @ 1:30 PM in the Sidener gym

🌟Attendance: All students will be in attendance. Family/friends of those performing are invited to attend in person.

🌟Types of Acts -- Genuine vs. Intentionally Bad: The theme of the talent show is based around America’s Got Talent. On the show, bad acts are “buzzed” off the stage. We won’t buzz just anyone off the stage, but students who would like to be buzzed off the stage are invited to audition an “intentionally bad act” for the show. Students who are auditioning a “genuine” act will not be buzzed at all and will receive positive feedback from the judges. All acts can be a variety of options from singing, dancing, playing an instrument, ventriloquism, magic tricks, stand-up comedy, and so much more. If you have any questions, please email Miss Schafer (schafers@myips.org)

🌟Sign-up HERE to audition for Sidener's Got Talent.

The PTA, or Parent Teacher Association, was founded in 1897 as the National Congress of Mothers by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst. Its original goal was to improve education, health, and safety for children. The organization later expanded its membership to include teachers, fathers, and other community members.
