PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE π
π Hello Bobcat Families,
It was wonderful to see so many families at B2SN! What a great way to kick-off the year, connecting with your child's teacher. If you were not able to make it, please still reach out to your teacher for any information you need to know! It's never too late!
Our little Bobcats had a great 1st week, they are adjusting to their new classroom wonderfully! Enjoy the weekend and we will see you back on Monday! Remember, 8 is late!

VALID PHOTO ID NEEDED TO CHECK OUT STUDENTS πͺͺ
Hello Felicita Families!
It has been so nice to see our students back on campus. Just a reminder, emergency contacts are not meant for early pick ups. If your student needs to be picked up during school hours by someone other than yourself, you need to call the office ahead of time to provide the name of the person who will be picking them up. That person will need to provide a valid form of ID upon arrival. The following are acceptable forms of identification:
-Valid state-issued driverβs license
-Valid state-issued identification card
-Valid United States/Foreign passport
-Valid permanent resident alien card
-Valid military identification

INTRODUCING YOUR NEW PE COACH--COACH OSBOURNE
Welcome back! My name is Coach Osborne and I will be your childβs Physical Education teacher this year. I have been a PE teacher for three years now in the Escondido school district. Iβm very excited to join the Felicita family and provide meaningful learning opportunities for your child. Students will be participating in teamwork building activities, exposed to various sports and learn about nutrition and health. My goal is to create a positive and stress free environment where students can try new things and become more active. Please make sure to send your student to school with appropriate shoes and clothing on their PE days so they can participate fully. Feel free to reach out, my email is kosborne@eusd.org
Thank you,
Kasey Osborne
ATTENDANCE MATTERS β
Help us reach our attendance goal of 94% average daily attendance!
Regular student attendance plays a critical role in our collective mission to ensure every student achieves their fullest potential.
Why Attendance Should Be a Top Priority:
Academic Achievement: Regular attendance is fundamental to student success. Each school day is a building block in the learning process. Consistent attendance helps students keep up with coursework, understand key concepts, and perform better academically.
Social and Emotional Development: School is a place where students develop crucial social skills and emotional resilience. Frequent absences can hinder their ability to form strong relationships with peers and teachers, impacting their overall development.
Future Opportunities: Consistent attendance is linked to higher graduation rates and better long-term outcomes, including higher education and career prospects. By prioritizing attendance, we are directly contributing to students' future success.
School Culture: Regular attendance fosters a positive school culture and enhances the learning environment for everyone. It creates a sense of community and ensures that all students have equal access to the resources and support they need.
Felicita Back to School Attendance Challenge!
If we start strong we stay strong! Starting on Tuesday September 2nd, your child's name will be entered into a raffle for each day they are at school for the month of September for a chance to win a new backpack full of Felicita swag and other cool items! We will announce the winner at our ROAR assembly on October 3rd! Remember Every Day Counts!
