Did you know...? Why Daily Attendance Matters:

  1. Missed Lessons = Falling Behind: Even one day can mean missing critical instructions and activities, making it harder for your child to catch up.

  2. Impact on Future Success: Consistent attendance is a strong predictor of academic achievement and future opportunities.

  3. Building Resilience: Regular attendance teaches your child the value of perseverance and responsibility—essential skills for success in life.

  4. Stronger Friendships: Daily presence helps your child develop and sustain friendships, which are crucial for emotional and social development.

  5. Healthy Routine: Attending school every day establishes a stable routine, promoting better mental and physical health.

Remember that class STARTS at 8:00am, so please have your child dropped off before then.

See if you qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch for your child

Find all the information you need about filling out an application or putting money on your child's lunch account here: https://www.humbleisd.net/o/humbleisd/page/cns-free-and-reduced

IMPORTANT!

Households must reapply annually in order to be eligible for free or reduced priced meals. Students who receive free/reduced price meals during the current school year qualify for those benefits the FIRST 30 DAYS of the following year in August. However, once a new application is processed, the eligibility determined by the new application will supersede the previous year's eligibility, even if that is within those first 30 days. Any student who does not have a new application processed by the 30th school day will automatically be changed to full pay.
