Do you love the ocean? Do you enjoy learning about coral reefs, fish, sharks, and other marine animals? If you answered yes, then you may want to consider a career as a Marine Biologist.
Marine Biologists study all things that live in the ocean. This includes the tiny plankton and the largest whales! Marine Biologists collect and analyze data, study marine plants and animals, identify animal species, research environmental effect on the ocean, and much more! To begin their career, Marine Biologists must complete a college degree in Marine Biology. Many Marine Biologist earn advanced degrees to further their careers in this field.
Marine Biologists use protective equipment specially engineered to help them explore and study the marine life underwater. In this week’s engineering challenge, you will design a specialized shark cage that Marine Biologist use to safely observe, collect data, and learn more about sharks. Good Luck Engineers the Marine Biologists depend on you!
Sincerely,
