World Languages: Spanish I Course is Now Live
In the meantime, this partial release gives teachers a sense of direction for where each unit is headed. Alongside the unit IFDs , you'll find the TEKS Clarification Document (TCD) explaining each standard, the Year at a Glance showing the full unit layout, and a curriculum explanation document under the Resources tab that walks through how the course is structured and built.

TCMPC System Updates
NEW! Math Specificity View Update
TCMPC has recently updated the display of partial specificity in TEKS RS and TCR Bluebonnet Learning to make the deleted specificity visible to users. In TEKS RS, this will be very helpful for teachers to see what content IS and IS NOT included in the unit so that they can vet instructional materials and plan aligned lessons.
In the example below, a teacher would quickly know that they should not include two-digit factors when teaching students to determine the area of rectangles. Previously, they would have had to compare the IFD specificity to the ETCD to determine what specificity was excluded from the unit learning.
In TCR BL, this new display will help districts and teachers more easily determine if there is specificity that is not included throughout any of the modules. Additionally, TCMPC will continue to indicate modified specificity (ex. the standard includes numbers to 20, but the unit only includes numbers to 10) with italicized text.
Texas Curricuum Resources (TCR) Bluebonnet
Texas Curriculum Resources (TCR) are housed in the TCMPC system. The Year At a Glance and Instructional Focus Document is aligned with the BlueBonnet Curriculum. The format is like the traditional TEKS Resource System. The Bluebonnet content will be in the system.
TCR-Bluebonnet addresses the following content areas and grade levels:
- RLA K-5
- Math K-8, Algebra 1
Please Note: TEA Bluebonnet does not offer 6-8 Accelerated Math, Alg. 2, Geometry or Spanish content.
TCR BlueBonnet is now available. Your district administration team can request access or book a preview with Jerard Lafuente (jlafuente@esc17.net) in your district.
TCR-Covid Emergency Release (CER)
TEA removed the CER Instructional Materials from TexasGateway.org at the end of July. The TCMPC will be able to keep TCR CER until the end of the 2026-27 school year, but there will be no links to the instructional materials as the information will no longer be housed publicly.
Scribe Tutorials
The Go.TCMPC team has been busy creating a library of tutorials for teachers and administrators. Click on the question mark (?) at the top of your dashboard and your TCMPC Help & Support Hub opens in a new window.
For Administrators
Duplicating Academic Calendars
District Administrators will want to archive their academic calendars from the previous year. There is now an option to archive old academic calendars as well as an option to copy (duplicate) academic calendars.
- Districts will want to create their district level academic calendars, and then
- Campuses will go to that calendar, click the three dots to get the drop down menu, and
- From there campus administrators can duplicate the academic calendar and make edits without changing the master copy at the district level.
NEW! User Summary Report
TCMPC District and Campus Administrators can run this new report to view all the members of their workspace(s), the roles of each member in the workspace(s), and the last time that member logging in to the workspace.
Districts that have access to the TEKS Resource System (TRS) item bank can create unit assessments that reflect TRS curriculum. For example, a teacher who has completed TRS’s Unit 1 in Biology may want to give a matching assessment to students. A test author can build such an assessment by searching keywords and adding items from the TRS item bank.
