Up next in the series explaining policy and procedure changes: Student Pickup and Dismissal

Did you see the changes to our handbook’s “Student Pickup and Dismissal” policy? Notes or emails requesting a change in how a student will travel home MUST BE RECEIVED BY 12:00 p.m. on the day of the requested change. The office will not make changes after 12:00 p.m. except in the case of emergencies, which must be approved by an administrator.

As a reminder, phone calls will not be accepted for transportation changes. We need to receive a note or an email. Thank you for helping us!

Cougar Chorale

The musical that the Cougar Chorale will be performing this year has been chosen. We will be performing Seussical Kids on March 2, Dr. Seuss Day! Auditions will be in October, and are open to students in 4th-6th grade. More information will be coming soon!

Art Contest

CES will have a student art contest for this year's yearbook cover! All students may enter a fully colored, original design for the cover.

Designs should be submitted on 8.5" x 11" copy paper, which is available from Miss Young, or you can use your own.
Vertical designs work best.
Students do not need to write the school name or year on their design; that will be printed over the winning design.
All submissions need the following information clearly printed on the BACK of the entry in pencil: name, grade, and homeroom teacher.
Submissions are due to Miss Young by November 22.

The winning artwork will be featured on the cover of the 2022-23 CES yearbook!
