As the weather gets colder, please do not bring blankets to school. They drag on floors, which makes them unsanitary and a tripping hazard. If you need help with a coat, please reach out to our counselors or social worker to seek out options. Any blankets brought to school will have to be put in a locker for the day.

Battle of the Spartans

We have some upcoming opportunities to earn points for your team!

November 17-20th

Get ready, Spartans — it’s time for one of our favorite traditions!

We’re raising money for the Holiday Shop and United Way, and we’re doing it with some friendly competition between Advisories and Teams!

Each Advisory has a big mason jar labeled with your teacher’s name. Bring your coins, cash, and checks all week to help your class WIN!

💰 How It Works

Pennies & Paper Money = Points UP

1 penny = +1 point
$1 bill = +100 points

Silver Coins = Points DOWN

Quarters, dimes, and nickels subtract points!
Drop them in OTHER teams’ jars to sabotage them! 😈

🕵️ Sabotage Missions

Each day, your Advisory can send 2–3 saboteurs to sneak silver coins into rival jars.
Move fast, be sneaky, and return to class before you’re caught!

🏆 How to Win

The Advisory with the most positive points in each grade level wins a DONUT PARTY in December! 🍩🎉
Your team’s total points also count toward Battle of the Spartans!

🪙 Reminders

Jars will be open in Advisory each morning and during the day when teachers are present.
Only go into rooms you’re assigned to during the school day.
All jars will be collected after Advisory on Thursday, Nov. 20 for the final count. Winners announced on Friday, Nov. 21.
