We were thrilled to see all our students at the Winter Wonderland Dance and we hope they loved it too! Special thanks to our Event Planning Classes, Tribe Talks, and many student leaders that helped to make it happen...and their teachers too!
Please be sure your students stay for Win it Wednesday Tutorials this week if they need any support or to get their grades up.

Semester Exams and Exemptions
đź’š Semester Exams & Exemption Policy đź’›
Each year, Santa Fe High School’s exam and exemption process is designed to encourage hard work, mastery of content, and reward academic excellence. These opportunities recognize students who demonstrate our TRIBE values—Trust, Respect, Integrity, Belonging, and Effort—through consistent attendance, commitment, and achievement.
- Mrs. Loop will be signing for the bookkeeper signature (in the front office)
- Ms. Nikravan will be signing for librarian & AP
- Both will be in the front office each lunch period for students to get signatures
-
No exams may be taken early for any reason.
-
Attendance matters every day. To qualify for an exemption, students must be present through the end of the semester.
-
Plan all vacations and holiday travel accordingly to ensure eligibility.
We appreciate your continued partnership in helping our students finish the semester strong and live out the spirit of our TRIBE.

Tutorials "WIN IT WEDNESDAY!
đź’š WIN-It Wednesdays: What Indians Need đź’›
At Santa Fe High School, we value WIN-It Wednesdays because they give every student a built-in opportunity for tutorials and academic support without after-school conflicts. This time allows students to focus on What Indians Need — catching up, closing gaps, and strengthening learning within our school day.
We recognize that this semester, with four varsity games on Thursdays, several underclassmen games move to Wednesdays, creating four weeks of unavoidable conflicts. In addition, Homecoming Week will not include a WIN-It session due to the community pep rally. Despite these exceptions, our goal remains to offer WIN-It Wednesdays consistently each week and continue building structure into this new initiative for Indian Nation.
As we grow this program, we ask everyone to uphold our TRIBE values — Trust, Respect, Integrity, Belonging, and Effort. These expectations guide how we use our time and space during "WIn it Wednesdays" to ensure all students can learn and thrive.
TRIBE — Trust · Respect · Integrity · Belonging · Effort
T– Trust
Report directly to your assigned tutorial area.
Staff and peers trust you to use this time responsibly.
Follow the classroom expectations honestly
Follow the sign-in procedures honestly
R – Respect
Respect the learning of others — walking the halls, visiting other classes, or socializing during WIN-It disrupts instruction.
Respect staff directions immediately; teachers are there to support your success.
Keep hallways clear and quiet once tutorials begin.
I–Integrity
Attend the class where you are struggling. Use the time to study, organize, or help peers.
Do not use WIN-It time for errands, checking grades for sports, or unrelated activities — this time is for academic growth.
Be truthful if questioned about your location or purpose.
B-Belonging
Help create a calm, focused environment — everyone deserves a sense of belonging and safety during this learning time.
If you finish early and leave the class, exit promptly. If you are not in your tutorial class, you do not belong in the building.
E– Effort
Arrive promptly and stay for the full tutorial session.
Bring necessary materials — Computer, notebook, and assignments.
Set a personal goal for each WIN-It Wednesday and work to meet it.
Remember:
WIN-It Wednesday is not “free time.” It’s What Indians Need — a dedicated opportunity to close learning gaps, strengthen skills, and build our TRIBE through academic growth and accountability.

From the Education Foundation
💚 We’re starting the Giving Tuesday movement EARLY — and here’s something exciting:
🤩When we reach 50 people giving $10/month, we’ll give away a $100 gift card to one lucky Santa Fe ISD educator!
💛Your $10 a month adds up — imagine the impact when families unite to invest in our educators. Our teachers and staff already pour into their students by supporting the Foundation’s work. Will you support them by investing in our educators — and in turn, our students and our entire community?
