Washington State Legislation
Support SB 6069 encouraging permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency housing and indoor emergency shelters. Without a roof over one's head, people die from the cold, the heat, untreated illnesses, violent acts and the sheer brutality of a life lived without a home. SB 6069 eases restrictions on building different types of homes to meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness. The bill will be heard in committee on Jan. 28 at 10:30AM. Sign in pro or send a comment before 9:30AM on the 28th.

Ministry Spotlight - Puyallup Parkinson's Group
The Puyallup Parkinson's Group meets once a month - on the 3rd Thursday from 2-3:30pm in the Parish center.
What began as a meeting of six persons has grown over the past year into a roster of 48 concerned adults. Those include both persons with Parkinson's and their close friends or spouses. At least 18 of this number are All Saints Parish members!
At the January 2026 meeting, 21 group members shared information about positive medical treatments they have found and how they felt about their Parkinson's diagnosis. Resilience and the ability to adapt were central to the afternoon's discussion. Members talked about setting small goals for the first part of the year.
This group is open to the entire community and we encourage participation for information, support, and understanding of how Parkinson's impacts the individual and their family.

Take Action - International Humanitarian Aid
On January 14, the House of Representatives passed the fiscal year 2026 National Security, Department of State and Related Programs appropriations bill—a bipartisan effort that dedicates nearly $25 billion to international humanitarian, health and economic/development programs.
This investment is more than just numbers—it’s hope in action.
- It means families facing crisis will experience the comfort and relief that reflect Christ’s example to care for the suffering.
- It ensures that mothers and children receive nutrition and health care that affirm the sanctity of life.
- It empowers communities to build resilience and pursue a future filled with opportunity and dignity.
Email your members of Congress today and urge them to support the critical funding in this bill.
