Happy Holidays! We are happy that the year of 2025 is coming to an end! Over the past year in the island, we have accomplished things like in June, we celebrated the class of '25s graduation as they move on with their life after being within our schools since 2011 and preparing the new MVRHS, opening ~September 2030!
NOTES:
- There will be no school starting December 24th to January 1st, 2026, for break! Schools will reopen on January 5th, 2026.
- January 16th there will be no school for students as it will be a teacher's day! January 19th there will be no school for Martin Luther King Junior Day.
- Kindergarten preregistration for the 2026 - 2027 will open on Monday, January 5th and close on Friday, January 30th. Information has already been posted!
- METCO registration for the 2026 - 2027 is already available on the METCO website, available by clicking HERE. There are multiple lotteries throughout the school year to get in, so there is no certain time to apply, but please try to as soon as possible for any parents in Boston who are wanting to send their student to Tisbury (K-8) School or MVRHS (9-12)

20-23 - MVRHS Midterms (11:05 AM dismissal)

February
6 - Early Dismissal - MVRHS @ 11:05 and Elementary/K-8 @ 11:55
13 - Schools Close @ 2:05 (MVRHS) and 2:55 (Elementary/K-8) for Break
