Principal's Message

We are so excited to welcome our families this afternoon to our 3rd annual Multicultural Dance and Art Show! The event starts at 1pm on the big yard with each classroom performing a dance. The art show is in the MPR and starts right after dismissal at 2pm. Please stop by so you can experience it! Thanks to Ms. Staveley for organizing the entire thing and to all the teachers for their commitment to making it beautiful!

Please drive slowly and follow all traffic laws when you are approaching our school. Do not block traffic, double park, speed, run the stop signs, or in other ways put our students and parents in danger. If you see someone breaking laws that can endanger others, take a picture of the license plate (and driver if you can) and send it to LAPD for traffic enforcement. It is not appropriate to curse or yell at our parents with children present. You never know when that person will be sitting right next to you at an assembly or invited to the same birthday party.

All parents are welcome to join me this Thursday at 9:30 in our school library for refreshments and a ribbon cutting! Paint with a Twist is unveiling the new Dr. Seuss themed mural in honor of Read Across America Week. Come meet and chat with our elected school officials (CM John Lee and SBM Scott Schmerelson) and Mrs. Jeanne as we show off our beautiful library!
