Tahquamenon Area Schools is applying for the 31aa School Mental Health and Student Safety Grant. Districts are able to use these funds on mental health, student safety, or a combination of the two. The purpose of this survey is to gather community input on which area the district should focus the grant spending on. Survey will close Sunday, November 26 at midnight. This is so the information can be gathered and grant applied for.

ELEMENTARY WACKY WEDNESDAY FOR November: Every Wednesday will be a different wacky day. If your child would like to participate, they will need to pay $1.00 to their teacher. The funds raised will go directly to your child’s class for field trips or positive incentives. If you have any wacky ideas to share, please contact the school office at 293-5153. If you are interested in being a part of a Drama Production, come to the auditorium every Thursday after school until 4:30 p.m. This is for grades 7 through 12! If you have Questions, see Mrs. Salter in cafeteria or email ksalter@taschools.org.

There have been some issues with PowerSchool since the beginning of school some have been fixed while others are still being worked on. We ask for your patience as we work through the issues and make sure all things are corrected.

Parent portals should be working. If you are having difficulties please contact your child's building administrative assistant for help.

Grades are correct for those that are showing up. Mostly this issue is with electives in the K-6 building. We will keep you posted when items are corrected. Again, thank you for your understanding.
