Hendrickson High School
Message from Principal Grebb:
Spring Break is just three weeks away! With so much happening both inside and outside the classroom, it's an exciting time at Hendrickson. To celebrate all the incredible things happening in our school, we’ll be kicking off the week with a pep rally on Tuesday morning at 9 AM.
These next three weeks also mark the final stretch of the 3rd Nine Weeks. How are your grades looking? What steps can you take to improve them? Have you attended tutorials, stayed organized, and ensured you’re meeting all your deadlines?
Take a deep breath, stay focused, and let’s make these next three weeks count.

Tardies
Besides teaching academic content at Hendrickson, we pride our work on teaching life skills that students can take with them into the real world. One of those skills is being early or on time. We have reset tardies for the new year, but have noticed that more students than normal are showing up late for class, especially for the start of the day. We will be closely monitoring the list of students who show up late and assign the appropriate consequence. Please help us remind students that being early or on time is a huge life skill.
See Something, Say Something
The Anonymous Alerts is an anti-bullying and safety app reporting system that helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome. Students or parents can submit reports such as bullying, cyber bullying, depression, dating violence, drug or alcohol use, threats against the school, weapons on campus, and more.
The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between the submitters (students, parents, or community members) and District administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.
