Mission Statement

As a Catholic community of faith, the mission of Saint John Nepomuk Catholic School is to model the gospel teachings of Jesus Christ and the principles of the Catholic Church. We are committed to the education and development of life-long learners and leaders.

I apologize, but we will need to cancel Aftercare on October 3rd. A staff member has her wedding that day and many staff members will not be able to work that night.

Parents,

We have noticed more and more name calling, negative comments about race, jokes about killing, and "roasting." Please have a conversation about these issues with your children.

Unfortunately, these behaviors have become normalized in society which makes it more challenging to stop them. Often times, students do not even think they have done anything wrong when they make these comments. They think it is a "joke" because it is directed at a "friend."

We want students at St. John's to speak to each other in a loving manner and build each other up instead of putting each other down.

Also, please discuss social media with your children. Social media issues outside of school may result in school consequences.

We have great kids at our school but it is our job to help them navigate these issues.

Reminder- no one is allowed to attend a field trip without being Safe Environment trained.

Archbishop Coakley will be visiting SJN on October 3rd!

Ms. Emily will not be at school from September 29th-October 10th. Chassi Kopec will be covering the office during her absence. Please congratulate Ms. Emily if you see her!

Parents will receive STAR testing (K-2nd) and MAPS tesing (3rd-8th) during the required parent/teacher conferences.

Kinder, 1st and 3rd grade students will have a hearing and vision screening on September 30th. If you do NOT want your child screened, fill out the "opt out" form below. If you want your child screened, you do not need to sign anything.

Fall pictures are on October 2nd. Picture order forms Pictures may be purchased online or you may send cash/check with your student on the day of pictures.

Our next assembly will be October 9th.
