March Family Newsletter

A Message from Mrs. Sandlin -- Proud LTE Principal
March
This month, our Leader in Me students are focusing on Honesty. Honesty means telling the truth, taking responsibility for our choices, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. It builds trust, strengthens friendships, and helps our school community feel safe and respected.
We encourage families to talk about honesty at home. Ask your child:
• What does it mean to be honest?
• Why is it sometimes hard to tell the truth?
• How does honesty show leadership?
Together, we can help our students grow into leaders who choose integrity with courage and confidence. Thank you for partnering with us!

- Students are not permitted to be dropped off in the Arrowhead neighborhood and cross the street. CCSO will be ticketing those who are dropping off students in arrowhead.
- Students not in their seats and ready to learn by 7:55 am will be marked as tardy.
What are Dismissal Procedures?
No early dismissals between 2:20 & 2:50
Car line – Make sure you have a car sign. If you do not have a car sign, for student safety, you will be asked to go to the front office and present your ID. New car signs may be purchased for $5 in the front office.
Walkers – Grades K-2 must be greeted by an adult or met by a sibling (in grades 3-5) at dismissal. Adults picking up students in grades K-2 must have a Walker Tag. Students in grades 3-5 may walk alone.
Rainy Day Dismissal -- In the event of inclement weather, the school will send out an autodialer to inform parents we are holding walker dismissal. In this case, adults may use their walker tag in the car rider line. We ask for patience, as it will take students a little time to report to car rider line from the rainy day holding area.
