🏴‍☠️💜💛I can feel it — there’s a general sense of exhaustion in the air right now, from students, families and staff. It’s something that often comes with this time of year, and it’s completely understandable when we take into account getting grades up, going through parent teacher conferences, dealing with weather that continues to cool down and I'm sure that the upcoming time change does not help! However we will continue working together and stay persistent on the larger picture! We are half way done with the semester and great things have and will continue going on!

I know it’s not always easy, but I’m so proud of what I see from you every single day. Go Pirates!

Just a side note for Halloween: Parents, please make sure your students know to be careful with traffic, only go in your designated neighborhoods pre-planned and be safe!!!! We want all our pirates to have fun, but return back to school on Monday healthy and ready to go!

Thursday notes:

1. Halloween Dance in the gym starting at about 2:15.

• We also have a home basketball game that day. We will need to end the dance at 3:30 and release students back to their advisory classes so we can have time to scrub the floors in preparation for the game.
• Each grade level will have a study hall for students with F's or suspensions.
• Movie in the auditorium will be Hotel Transylvania. Students can leave the dance to go to the movie, but can't leave the movie to go to the dance. It is a one-way street.

4. Halloween costumes: No weapons or facsimile of a weapon, no blood/gore, no masks or face paint that covers the whole face, no weapons. We need to be able to see the face enough to recognize the student.
