A Message from Dr. King Davis
As we close out another school year in Killeen ISD, I want to simply say thank you.
Thank you to our students for the way you’ve continued to learn, grow and represent your schools this year. Every time I visit a campus, I’m reminded that the overwhelming majority of our students are doing the right thing every day, and I could not be more proud of you.
To our teachers, staff and campus leaders, thank you for continuing to show up for students every single day. The work happening in our schools only happens because of your care, commitment and dedication.
And to our families and community, thank you for your support and partnership throughout the year. Strong schools require strong relationships, and we are continuing to move forward together.
As summer begins, I hope our students, staff and families all take time to rest, recharge and enjoy time together. You’ve earned it.
And students, I encourage you to stay active this summer. Take advantage of the many free and low-cost opportunities available through Killeen ISD and across our community.
Thank you for being part of Killeen ISD. I am proud of our students, proud of our staff and excited about the future ahead.
Have a safe summer, and we’ll see you in August!
