STAAR Science - 5th - April 16th

A special thank you to all the parents, family members, and teachers that ensured afterschool tutorials were a success for our students. The 23-24 tutorial season has officially ended.

As it gets warmer, students are starting to wear shorts again. Some of them have grown a lot! Please ensure your child's shorts are not too short. Students are still wearing hoodies and that is okay. Hot, but okay. Please remind them that they are not allowed to wear their hoods during the school day. If you can't find some of your child's clothing, you may want to check the lost and found. We have six racks of children's lost clothing. Anything not claimed by the end of next week will be donated. Feel free to double check the lost and found this Thursday when you come to help give your input on the WSES parent programing, watch the first grade performance, or pick up your student from the math event.

TARDY

After 8:05 a.m. students are counted tardy. An adult needs to accompany the students to the front office and sign him/her in. Please use the computer station located in the foyer. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe. If a child arrives late, they must bring a doctor's note for it to be excused. Otherwise, the instructional time missed will count against the student.

SIGN-IN & EARLY DISMISSAL PROCEDURE

To sign in or check out students, please use the computer station in the foyer. Follow the instructions on the prompt and then proceed to the front office once you have your ticket.

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe. If a child is picked up early, they must bring a doctor's note for it to be excused. Otherwise, the instructional time missed will count against the student.

LATE PICK-UPS

Dismissal is at 3:30 pm. Please arrive on time to pick up your child(ren). We will notify Killeen PD for students not picked up by 4:00 pm. If you need after-school care, please contact the YMCA or Boys & Girls Club.

Tuesday- STAAR Testing 5th Science (Campus Closed to Visitors)

Wednesday- Purple Up Day

Thursday- 3-5th Grade Earth Day Counts Event (Math STAAR Review) 3:30-5:00 pm, Parent Compact and Policy Input 5:00 pm, 1st Grade Musical 5:00 pm in WSES cafe

Friday- Parent Compact and Policy Input 8:30 am
