Week of February 1st Reminders

• Wednesday, February 4, is an Early Release Day. Jordan will operate on the Early Release-Activity Period Bell Schedule on February 4.
• Student Services is hosting a Virtual Course Selection Night for current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors on February 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Click here for the registration link.

• Recognize your graduating child’s accomplishments with a senior ad in the yearbook! The final date to submit a senior ad is February 6. Money raised through ad sales goes towards book donations for students in need. Create your child’s senior ad here.

• The School Improvement Team will meet virtually on February 9, from 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• The Quarter 2 Honor Roll celebration will now be held on February 12, during all three lunches.

Join us February 6th for the annual Jordan Orchestra Event, Music through Time. Come hear student chosen chamber groups as they perform music throughout different time periods. You’ll hear anything from Shostakovich to Radiohead and more! Take a glimpse at the research-based projects they created to go along with it. Enjoy concessions and help us raise money through our silent auction by bidding on items donated by our local community members and business owners! We have everything from instruments to Virgina Tech vs. UNC basketball tickets, and even weekend getaways! We do have a set snow date of February 13th, that we will utilize if we miss more school this week. Check out our Instagram @jordanhsorchestra for up-to-date information.

Want to enroll in a dance class for the 2026-2027 school year? Before completing your class selections, you will get placed into the best class for you. Students with dance experience may attend the placement class on Wednesday, February 11th, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the JHS Auditorium. Students new to dance are welcome to select Beginner Dance, no placement required!

We want to celebrate your senior by including their baby photo in the yearbook! Using this link, please submit ONE baby photo. We are only accepting original digital files or JPEG scans of a physical photo. We are not able to accept screenshots or pictures of a physical photo that you have taken with your phone.
