I hope everyone enjoyed the cooler weather this weekend!

Last week’s Hispanic Heritage Night was an incredible success — thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate the foods, traditions, and cultures that make our community so special.

This week is a busy one at Lipscomb, with Parent Conference Night, Trunk or Treat, and the Book Fair all taking place. We also kicked off our Yearbook Club and Debate Club last week, with Esports launching soon.

Please take a moment to review the arrival safety reminder included below — thank you for doing your part to help every student arrive safely and ready to learn.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday evening for conferences!

Arrival Safety Reminder

This is a friendly reminder to follow all posted traffic signs and routes during morning arrival.

Due to the limited space surrounding our campus, it’s essential that everyone helps maintain a safe and efficient flow of traffic. Please be mindful of our volunteers, students, and staff who assist daily — their safety depends on each of us doing our part.

Thank you for keeping our arrival safe and showing what it means to be part of The Pride!

Lipscomb Named a Dallas County Catalyst Campus!

We are proud to announce that William Lipscomb Elementary has been named one of only 22 Dallas ISD campuses recognized as a Dallas County Catalyst Campus — an honor awarded to schools that have shown remarkable academic growth by improving their state accountability rating from a D or F in previous years to a B or A in 2025.

This recognition highlights the hard work, resilience, and dedication of our students, teachers, and families who continue to show that growth and excellence are possible through teamwork and high expectations.

Lipscomb will be celebrated at the Dallas County Economic Mobility Summit for being one of the few schools in the county to make this level of progress.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Pride!
