What is Annual Open Enrollment?
Open enrollment is an annual period when individuals can review, select, or change their benefits. Often referred to as "annual enrollment" in the workplace, this timeframe typically spans 2 to 4 weeks, allowing employees to make decisions regarding their health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Similarly, Medicare and the Health Insurance Marketplace also have designated open enrollment periods.
