Good morning,
This is a friendly reminder that tonight is Parent Open House at Fremd High School. Parents and guardians will be able to walk their student's schedule beginning at 7:00 PM. Prior to attending, please confirm the schedule with your student or on the Infinite Campus portal. A map of Fremd is available HERE to help navigate the building.
Parking is available:
- On campus
- Palatine Township Center, at the corner of Quentin Rd and Illinois Ave
- Hunting Ridge Elementary School, to the West of Fremd on Illinois
The schedule for the evening is:
- Period 1 - 7:00-7:10 PM
- Period 2 - 7:15-7:30 PM
- Period 3 - 7:35-7:45 PM
- Period 4 - 7:50-8:00 PM
- Period 5 - 8:05-8:15 PM
- Period 6 - 8:20-8:30 PM
- Period 7 - 8:35-8:45 PM
- Period 8 - 8:50-9:00 PM
Prior to the main program there will be three presentations available. Each one will be presented twice with the same information:
6:00-6:25 PM / 6:30-6:55 PM Student Services Group Guidance Curriculum – Media Center
Members of the Student Services department will review the group guidance curriculum. The group guidance lessons encompass grade-specific academic planning, personality inquiries and post-high school planning, including college and career planning. This is targeted to parents and caring adults of all grade levels.
6:00-6:25 PM / 6:30-6:55 PM ACT Testing Suite – Cafeteria
Members of the Student Services staff will offer a review of the ACT Suite of Assessments including the PACT, PSAT-NMSQT and ACT. The sequence and components of the exams and supports available to students will be reviewed. This session is targeted to all parents and caring adults interested in learning more about the ACT Testing Suite. Information will also be provided regarding Fremd’s ACT Test Prep.
6:00-6:25 PM / 6:30-6:55 PM Resources for Families of Transfer Students – Room 129
This session is designed for families of students who have recently transferred to Fremd High School. Parents and guardians are invited to meet with members of the student services staff for an overview of the school day and an introduction to services offered at Fremd High School.
