Focus On Education

Friday, October 17, 2025
Dear Staff and Supporters,
It is with immense pride and gratitude that we announce:
Yohan’s Army has been named the 2025 JedTv Student Section of the Year.
This honor reflects more than just loud cheers or packed bleachers — it represents a season of unmatched energy, continuous sacrifice, and unwavering direction. From the first game to the last, our student section showed what it means to lead with purpose, passion, and Brickie pride.
Every voice that echoed across the stadium, every hour spent preparing themes and chants, every student who stood in the front row — this recognition belongs to all of you. You brought a level of unity and intensity that set a new standard not only for our school but across the entire community.
Energy drove us.
Sacrifice defined us.
Direction guided us.
This award isn’t the finish line — it’s a milestone. And as we look ahead, we carry the same momentum into next game, post season, and winter season, determined to raise the bar once again.
Thank you for believing in what Yohan’s Army stands for. Let this be a reminder: when we come together with focus and purpose, we’re capable of leading any crowd — and claiming any title.
-YOHAN'S ARMY
Brickie Mentor Program Launched at Hobart High School!
The Brickie Mentor Program is officially underway at HHS! Today, mentors from the junior and senior classes met with the freshman class to kick off this year’s sessions. Each month during Power Hour, mentors will work with freshmen to offer guidance and support as they navigate their first year at Hobart High School. Topics will include adjusting to high school life, getting involved in activities, balancing school, work, and sports, and learning how to ask teachers for help.
The first session was a great success! Our ninth-grade mentees were engaged and eager to learn during the mentor-led discussions. Great job, Mentors; way to #BeExcellentOnPurpose!
