Greetings Mountain View Families,

Welcome to Mountain View Elementary. Welcome back to all returning Mustangs. We are excited about a new school year. Welcome to the Mountain View Moments monthly newsletter. The newsletter will be sent out with our family communication tool ParentSquare and will also be on our school website. We hope this monthly newsletter informs you on the amazing learning happening in our school and upcoming events. With our new online format, there will be helpful links included for parents/guardians as well.

Our goal is to create a strong school/family relationship with you to ensure your child succeeds at Mountain View. We would love for you to join our PTA. We are always looking for people to serve on the PTA board. Please let us know if you are interested in serving.

Students will be recognized throughout the school year in these three areas.

• Please call the school before 9:00 each day to report if your child will be absent or tardy.
• If you need to change afternoon transportation plans for your child, changes MUST be called in BEFORE 2:30 PM.
• Please review the tardy and early dismissal policy in the student handbook.
• If your child is absent please send in a doctor's excuse for the absence.
• Our goal this school year is to lower our Chronic Absentee Percentage

Be sure that you are on time at the bus stop to pick up your child.

Students who are repeatedly returned to school can be suspended from the bus.
