Happy Saturday Windsong Ranch Families,

Reminder that STAAR testing for 5th grade science will take place on Tuesday, 4/21. Make-up testing will be held on Wednesday, 4/22 and Thursday, 4/23. Our campus is closed to visitors while we are testing. Please help your child be successful by ensuring they arrive to school on time, well rested, and ready to do their best!

We have begun the process of creating class lists for the 2026–2027 school year. As part of this process, families are invited to complete a Parent Consideration form to share information about their child’s learning style and needs. Please note that specific teacher requests will not be accepted, and forms submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Thank you for your support as we work to create balanced and successful classrooms.

WonderLab: Summer Camp hosted by our Specials Team

WonderLab is a hands-on summer camp where curiosity comes to life! Campers explore art, creativity, movement, music, and problem solving. Hosted by the WRE Specials Team!

Returning and New Student Registration is Open!!

Please take just a few minutes to log into Skyward Family Access today and complete your returning registration for the 26-27 school year. The process is quick and easy! You must be logged in as the parent, not the student account to do this. Only the parent listed first in Skyward has the ability to do the returning registration. You will need to upload your most recent utility bill (water, gas, or electric dated within 30 days) as proof of residency. The bill must have the homeowner's name and service address visible.

If this process is not completed, you will not be able to see who your child's teacher is when that information is released (late summer) so don't delay, do it today!

If you require a Residency Affidavit in order to complete your registration, these will be scheduled in late July. Go ahead and complete the registration and I will reach out later to schedule.

If your student will not be returning to Prosper ISD schools next year, please complete the form in Skyward titled "Intent to Withdraw." You can find this form in your Skyward account under the Online Forms tab. This DOES NOT automatically withdraw your student. We will be contacting you closer to the end of school with a withdrawal form for you to complete. If you have completed the form but continue to get emails regarding registration, please disregard them. Please note the form does not have to be completed if your student is moving to another school in the district. This is only for students not returning to Prosper ISD.

Registration is also open for students new to Prosper so spread the word to your new neighbors!

26-27 School Supplies

The EPI school supply kit sale is now live! In order for these kits to be shipped directly to Windsong, orders must be placed prior to 06/16. If you do not want to purchase school supplies through EPI, the supply list for each grade level can be found here.

PE Summer Camp at the Ranch

Our very own Coach McClain and Coach Connor will be hosting a PE summer camp at the Ranch this June. Check out the flyer for more information and scan the QR code or click here to register. Spots are filling up fast!

Kids Heart Challenge is here! Our students are learning how to keep their hearts and brains healthy, and raising funds to help kids with special hearts.

We’re asking all families to sign up and complete Finn’s Mission, where they will learn Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke. All students who sign up will receive a wristband.

Shout out to all of our Windsong families who joined us for the Prosper ISD Hope Walk! We loved seeing our community come together to support mental health and remind one another that hope matters.

Together We Champion

STAAR can bring a little anxiety for our students, but Mrs. Hightower made it her mission to “burst” that anxiety before the first test day! Students started by writing everything they have learned in ELAR, then added something they were worried about related to STAAR. After that, the fun began! They sat on, jumped on, stomped on, and squeezed their balloons until they popped... popping their worries away. A fun reminder that our students are prepared, capable, and bursting with knowledge!
