Parents,
If your son or daughter is in the 4th grade or higher and would like to be an altar server, training sessions will be held on Wednesdays October 1, 8, 15, 22 from 1:45 to 3:15 and Mondays October 6, 13, 20 from 5:15 to 6:45. You only need to attend one session. We will train only 4 kids per session. You must register to attend a training session. You can register for the class on Realm.
Training will be held in the church. For the Wednesday session enter through the parish office to get to the church. For the Monday session enter the church through the south church doors off of 8th Street. A parent will need to fill out a short information sheet to help with scheduling. Parents are encouraged to stay for the training, but it is not mandatory. Questions: contact Deacon Al Weber in the parish office by email aweber@saintpatrickcf.org or call 319-266-3523.

Please collect your Hy-Vee receipts and drop them off at the school or parish office. These receipts help us earn money for school improvements, but only those dated June 1st 2025 or later will count for the upcoming school year. Thank you for helping us grow and improve—one receipt at a time!
Our next Volunteer Night at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank will be on Thursday, October 2nd, from 6:00–7:30 P.M. If you’d like to join us, please contact Erin Youngblut at erinyoungblut@gmail.com
This is a great opportunity to give back to our community, and it also counts toward service hour requirements for students in grades 5–8. Volunteers of all ages (Kindergarten and up) are welcome!
Fire Prevention Week is October 6th through the 10th. This year's theme is 'Charge into Fire Safety." Students will once again have the opportunity to create grocery bag posters about this years theme. Bags will be going home with students the last week of September, and are due back to school by October 6th. Cedar Falls Fire Rescue will also have an open house on October 8th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and students are welcomed to return their poster to the fire station at that time, or they can return their poster to the school office.
You should have received a separate email earlier in September with instructions on getting your account setup to pay your fees online.

This year's Trunk or Treat will be after 5:00 Mass on Saturday, October 25th. More information will be out soon!
