Arrival and Dismissal SAFETY Reminders
- ONLY Preschool families can use the front parking lot during arrival (8:40-8:50) after buses have arrived.
- ONLY Preschool families can use the front parking lot during dismissal (3:15-3:25) before buses have arrived.
- ALL OTHER FAMILIES should use the Park District Parking lot and walk to the front of the building OR use the parent pick-up circle, which moves pretty quickly.
THIS IS FOR STUDENT SAFETY. I do not want students walking in front of buses as they are pulling in or out (this is scary!). I do not want cars pulling out in front of buses. Both of these can cause serious accidents. PLEASE BE SAFE!
If your child will be absent from school, please call the office 630-529-2223 or email the Attendance Email: erattendance@sd13.org by 9:00am. Also, if you are changing your child's dismissal plan, please call the office by 2:00. Phone calls after 2:00 can not always be relayed to the student.
Please reach out if you have any question or concerns. The best way to reach me would be via email or phone: sjohnston@sd13.org or 630-529-2223.

District Medication Policy Reminder
Nurse Kassy would just like to remind all parents and guardians of our school medication policy as we end this year and prepare for the next:
- All Medications given in school, including non-prescription, shall be prescribed by a licensed prescriber using our Medication Order Form found on the District site.
- This order must include Student’s name, date of birth, the Prescriber’s name, Signature, and date.
- It needs to include the name of medication, dosage, route, frequency, and time of administration
- All medications need to come in original packaging with labels. No loose medications or ointments in a baggy or cup.
- Parent’s/Guardian’s must fill out the Parent Authorization form (also on the site)
- ALL medications must then be brought to school by the parent/guardian and given to the nurse.
- Medications cannot be left in student’s backpacks, lunch boxes, or lockers.
At the end of the school year, medications will need to be picked up by parent/guardian.
If you ever have any questions or would like copies of forms sent, you can reach out to me at KassandraLethert@sd13.org
Thank you!
