In addition to bulletin board posts, this page also hosts quick links to a variety of event calendars for the Lebanon, PA area. Find this new resource under the homepage quick links, or under the Parents & Learners menu!

Posting to the Community Bulletin Board is as simple as submitting the online form found on the bulletin board page. When submitting an event or activity, please ensure the posting provides relevant and timely information that is beneficial to our learning community, that all sections of the submission form are completed, and that flyers are provided in multiple languages.

Family Night Out Family Night Out

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, district students and families enjoyed an evening of STEM exploration during our annual Family Night Out! Families explored coding with Spheros, Indis and Osmos, took a trip in virtual reality, and visited the planetarium! Students also participated in a read aloud while parents and adult family members attended a Title I information session. Based on the curiosity and engagement demonstrated by our families, we'd say the evening was a success!

Special thanks to our district staff and a few LVC student-educators who helped make this event possible!

This month our staff proudly launched our Portrait of a Cedar initiative, which will be implemented in our classrooms in the 2025-2026 school year! This new program incorporates the seven core values that we believe every Cedar student should embody upon graduation, values that you, our parents, helped define.

These key qualities are:

  • Personally Responsible
  • Empathetic
  • Responsible
  • Critical Thinker
  • Communicator
  • Creative
  • Leader

As part of our curriculum, these values will guide and inspire our students every step of the way, helping them grow into well-rounded individuals ready for the future!

Achieved Fidelity at Tiers 1, 2, and 3!

Southwest Elementary has successfully implemented programs and strategies to support our students’ behavior and learning at all levels. They've implemented programs that help all students, as well as targeted support for students who need extra help, and very personalized support for students who need the most assistance. This fall, they will be recognized for this achievement! Southwest is one of only two schools in Lebanon County that has reached this level of success—great job, Southwest Cedar Family!

Aevidum Conference Aevidum Conference

Aevidum - I've Got Your Back

This year, Lebanon Intermediate School onboarded its first Aevidum Club, a student-led initiative dedicated to shattering the silence around mental health. Aevidum, a nonprofit organization with the powerful message of "I've Got Your Back," is all about promoting self-care, acceptance, and emotional well-being. Club members meet bi-weekly to plan school-wide activities that encourage a positive, supportive culture. In March, LIS students traveled to Allentown to join peers from 52 school districts across 17 counties in PA for an empowering day of emotional wellness activities. Together, they unpacked their emotional backpacks and embraced the power of healing and connection. We’re excited for the future of the Aevidum Club and their mission to spread awareness, appreciation, and care throughout our school community!
